If you experience a sudden shut down of your Wolf/Mantis while riding, have a look at the below:
If you use the Wolf/Mantis for extended periods in single motor mode, especially uphill or with lots of weight, the motor might overheat which will lead the controller to shut it down. A few minutes wait will take care of that. We recommend not to use single motor mode unless you are merely cruising along without too much load on one motor.
Separately to the above, the Wolf and Mantis, like all electric scooters, is equipped with low voltage protection.
If you Battery is around 54/53V and you put lots of load on the motor (e.g. accelerating uphill for heavy riders), the voltage my drop momentarily below the controller shut off point set to 44V. This will lead the controllers to shut down to protect the battery. You will need to connect your scooter to a charger to reactivate.
We recommend that whenever battery is low, keep an eye on the display to see how Voltage fluctuates downwards when you draw a lot of power. The display will start blinking whenever you are getting close to empty. If that happens while are you are still a few miles away from your destination, you can switch to ECO and single motor mode to preserve battery charge.
