Reinstall the main nut and securely tighten it (ideally use blue loctite on the threads), ensure the bearings are not bound and are spinning smoothly. Remember to reinstall the steering alignment pin. Rotate the collar to where the portion with the threading is facing toward the back as you originally found it. Rethread the screws and lightly fasten them, make any adjustments needed to the steering alignment and then go ahead and fully tighten them.
